Nectar Restaurant at Florblanca features a Hook to Fork menu for fresh, daily caught fish and seafood. With the Pacific Ocean literally at our doorstep, we have the wonderful opportunity to offer seafood that the fishermen reeled in that day. The fish and seafood on the menu at Nectar comes from three villages all within thirty miles of the resort – MalPais, Manzanillo and Tambor.
Together with our Farm to Table menu items featuring locally raised chicken and pork as well as local farm fresh vegetables, the Hook to Fork fish and seafood menu follows our goals to be a fully sustainable, eco-friendly resort. In 2010, Florblanca earned 4 out of 5 leaves in its Certificate for Sustainable Tourism. We are being re-evaluated this year and have been working hard to earn that 5th leaf! Our sustainability efforts benefit our guests, the environment, our local community, and our local economy.
Another great advantage of the Hook to Fork menu is that Florblanca guests who spend the day fishing can have their catch prepared by our chefs for their very own meal at Nectar.
