At Nectar, we delight in coming up with new and delicious smoothies to hydrate, cleanse, boost, and nourish our guests.  Whether they’re enjoyed after a yoga or Pilates session or for an afternoon pick-me-up, Nectar smoothies always feature fresh and all natural ingredients with qualities that will fulfill and enhance your nutrition.

Previously, we shared our recipe for the Cleanse Smoothie and today we’re excited to share our recipe for the “Boost Your Energy” Smoothie.  It includes coconut oil that’s been shown to increase 24 hour energy expenditure for long-term health benefits.  It also contains hemp seeds which are rich in omega-6 and omega-3 essential fatty acids, both critical parts of your diet for proper functioning of your body. Hemp seeds are also high in protein and vitamin E.  Plus we add in delicious and nutritious fruit to make this a staple smoothie to add to your recipe book.

Nectar’s Boost Your Energy Smoothie

  • ½ Banana
  • ½ cup Blackberries
  • 1 tbsp Hemp Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • ½ cup Ice

Add all ingredients into blender and blend together. Add water based on thickness desired.

Serving Directions:

Serve in glass and enjoy!
